Antique 1834 Hand-Colored Harvard University Engraving
Description
An original 1834 hand-colored engraving of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, drawn by American architect Alexander Jackson Davis and engraved by Denison Kimberly. The central campus view is surrounded by decorative vignettes with hand coloring in soft blue and green tones.
Presented in an antique black frame with a narrow gilt liner. Sourced from the estate of a Harvard professor and Rhodes Scholar.
Approximately 11 5/8" wide x 9 3/4" tall x 1 1/4" deep.
