Original antique French advertising terrine pot with lid, featuring hand-painted “Charcuterie-Comestibles Seguin” lettering across the front and striped detailing wrapping the sides. “Charcuterie-Comestibles” translates roughly to delicatessen and prepared foods, indicating the pot would have originally been used in a provincial French food or butcher shop. Finished in a warm honey glaze with a darker brown lid and trim.

A wonderfully graphic piece with classic provincial French character, equally striking styled on open shelving or layered into a kitchen vignette.

Age-related wear and surface imperfections throughout, consistent with use and age. Lid finial shows wear and small imperfections to the glaze.
