Vintage English Johnson Bros. Pareek Ironstone Plate
Description
A beautifully shaped vintage English ironstone plate in Johnson Bros.' sought-after Pareek pattern. Produced in England in the mid-20th century, the design is distinguished by its softly scalloped silhouette and gently undulating rim—a form that feels both classic and distinctive. Rendered in creamy white ironstone, its molded edges and softly raised profile add subtle texture and dimension.
Marked "Pareek" by Johnson Bros., the celebrated English pottery maker founded in 1883 and long prized for its durable ironstone and collectible tablewares. The unusual shape makes this piece especially versatile: beautiful layered with other white ceramics, used as a cloche base, displayed in a hutch, hung on a plate wall to break up a collection of round forms, or displayed on its own as a statement wall hanging.
Dimensions: 10 1/4" long x 9 1/4" wide
Condition: Pristine vintage condition with minor glaze irregularities and light wear consistent with age. No chips or cracks.
