Vintage Small French Stoneware Confit Pot

A French stoneware confit pot with petite side handles, a warm brown glaze, and contrasting natural clay rim. Marked Grès de Bonny – Made in France on the underside, this small vessel features a glazed interior and classic confit pot form.

Produced in the tradition of utilitarian stoneware associated with Bonny-sur-Loire, a region known for durable pottery made for everyday use. Historically used for storing and preserving foods, Grès de Bonny pieces have become increasingly collectible since the factory closed in 2014. Great for holding small utensils, spices, electrolyte or protein powder, vitamins, or other countertop essentials. It also makes a great candle vessel.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a few very small, shallow chips to the rim. Without the original lid.
