Antique French Autumn Tree Landscape Oil on Panel

A small French landscape study painted in oil on wood panel, likely late 19th to early 20th century and sourced in France. The composition captures windblown trees and brush along the water beneath a warm, glowing sky, rendered in soft autumnal tones of amber, rust, and muted green.

The palette and expressive brushwork give the piece a rich, atmospheric quality, with dark linear branches set against a hazy, luminous background.

Condition note: The panel has split vertically along one side, as shown. Because of this damage, the piece is priced significantly lower. It still presents beautifully when styled and retains strong visual impact.

There is a faint, difficult-to-read signature at the lower left. Wear to the edges is consistent with age.
