Antique French Drip-Glaze Terracotta Faisselle

Antique French faisselle crafted from terracotta with a rich brown drip glaze. Featuring drainage holes throughout and a beautifully weathered surface, the contrast between the exposed clay and glossy glaze creates wonderful texture and character.

Traditionally used in the cheesemaking process to drain fresh cheese, faisselles are now highly sought after as decorative objects. Ideal for styling on open shelving, layering into a collection of pottery, or displaying as a small sculptural vessel.
