Antique French Glazed Pedestal Faisselle

Antique French faisselle crafted in warm honey-glazed terracotta. Raised on a pedestal foot and featuring drainage holes throughout, this larger example displays beautiful color, surface variation, and age-related character.

Traditionally used in the cheesemaking process to drain fresh cheese, faisselles are now highly sought after as decorative objects. Ideal for styling on open shelving, layering into a collection of pottery, or displaying as a sculptural vessel.
