Antique Louis XVI-Style Gesso Frame with Portrait Print

An antique Louis XVI-style gesso frame with a white-painted and gilt finish, featuring an oval portrait print of two young women. The oval frame features a beaded inner border, ribbon crest, and floral and scroll details characteristic of the Louis XVI style. Traces of gilt remain throughout, highlighting the raised decoration. A metal hanging loop at the top allows for wall display.

Condition:
Good antique condition with age-related wear to the painted and gilt finish. Aging and discoloration are present on the print, consistent with age. The print is not removable. A photograph or miniature artwork can be placed over the existing print.
