Pair of Vintage Scandinavian Art Deco Silver-Plated Candlesticks

A pair of silver-plated candlesticks dating to circa 1930s–1950s. With fluted stems and streamlined forms, they reflect the restrained elegance of Scandinavian design and Art Deco styling. Their sculptural silhouettes make them equally suited for a dining table, mantel, or shelf.

Marked J.L.H./Prima Import to the underside, a Scandinavian importer associated with Swedish and Danish decorative metalwares of the period. Sourced in Sweden, these examples embody the enduring appeal of mid-century Nordic design.

Dimensions: 6 7/8" tall x 3 1/2" wide

Condition: Good vintage condition with light scratching and wear consistent with age and use. Recently polished from a heavily tarnished state. The bases show some denting, and one felt bottom is loose, exposing a small area of the underlying composite material. Both candlesticks stand straight and stable on a flat surface.
