Finished in a layered black glaze with cratered, mineral-like texture and subtle tonal variation. The piece was fired using a reduction technique — meaning it was fired in a low-oxygen kiln, which deepens the glaze color and creates the smoky, varied surface seen here. The natural irregularities and raw surface quality align well with wabi-sabi style interiors.
