Vintage French earthenware tureen sourced in France, produced in Vallauris in the early to mid 20th century. Finished in a warm yellow glaze with natural pooling and kiln variation, and formed with a rolled rim and applied side lug handles.

The underside bears an oval “Vallauris – Déposé” stamp, indicating registered production from the renowned pottery center in southern France.

Originally part of a lidded serving tureen used for soups and stews in provincial kitchens. The glaze marks and surface variation reflect traditional regional pottery methods characteristic of Vallauris production during the period.
